Southern folk art pottery jug features a rich, runny olive green glaze and expressive facial features conveying a fearful or worried expression. The jug opening is located at the tail. It is signed on the side and base. Created by the self-taught South Carolina potter—who was born in 1961 and began working in clay around 2001—this piece reflects the traditional methods he employs alongside his wife, Lynn, using locally dug clay. It measures approximately 4 3/8 in. H x 9 3/8 in. W x 3 1/4 in. D and is in good condition.
