The plates are executed in a style reminiscent of a brown woodcut print set against a creamy, warm ground, utilizing his signature dark slip glazes. Each plate is signed by the artist, with the larger measuring approximately 1 in. H x 8 in. in diameter. Both pieces are in good condition.
