Includes two masks from the Congo region, noted for their historic significance and provenance as likely family heirlooms. One piece is identified as a possible Lega mask, characterized by elongated facial features. The second example features an ebony-finished wood with lighter wood accents around the eyes. The longer of the two masks measures approximately 15 1/2 in. H x 5 3/4 in. W x 3 in. D. Both pieces exhibit surface wear consistent with their age.
