A lot of two fixed-blade butcher's cleavers of varying sizes. The larger cleaver features a heavy carbon steel blade with a rectangular profile, curved spine, and a circular hanging hole at the toe. The blade face is incised with the size numeral 1. It is fitted with a long cylindrical handle finished with a black textured wrap. Remnants of original green paint are visible on the blade near the bolster area. The smaller cleaver features a steel blade with a rectangular form, curved spine, and hanging hole. This example is constructed with a full tang and dark-stained wood handle scales secured by three large circular brass rivets. No manufacturer marks or signatures are legible on either tool. 12 and 16 in long.
