The warrior is depicted in elaborate brigandine-style armor featuring a central circular breastplate, scale-patterned sections, and borders with geometric fretwork and scrolling clouds. The lower edges of the armor plates are finished with flame-like decorative elements. He wears an ornate crown with a central niche containing a small seated figure, flanked by circular motifs. One hand is held in a mudra-like gesture while the other grips a simple rod, likely the core of an incomplete weapon. The face is carved with a fierce expression, bulging eyes, and a thick mustache. The figure is accented throughout with polychrome pigments in red, green, and blue. It is mounted on a carved, multi-tiered dark wood base. No clearly legible maker marks or reign marks are visible. Faint, darkened impressions on the central decorative sash are too indistinct to transcribe. 21 in high.
