Comprising one green frog, 1997, numbered 1502/2000, and one red frog, 2001, numbered 663/2000, red frog having foundry mark "Frogman" under right leg, both signed, dated, and numbered to underside.
Each: 3 1/4 x 3 3/8 x 3 in. (8.3 x 8.6 x 7.6 cm.)

Provenance: Private Collection, Atlanta, GA.

Artist Bio: Tim Cotterill, The Frogman, was born in Leicester, England, in 1950. He left school at the age of fifteen to complete a six-year engineering apprenticeship. Intrigued by metalworking, Tim created radical wheeled vehicles and metal sculptures of animals and birds during the 70s and 80s. His original steel, bronze and gold sculptures are in art collections throughout the world. Tim immigrated to California in 1990 where he has since devoted himself solely to the creation of his unique bronze sculptures. Tim's work is now represented in fine art galleries worldwide.
