Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers are featured on this Fillmore Original Poster from early 1997. Artist Jim Phillips created a series of posters to promote this long run of Petty shows at the venue. These shows were recently released as a special box set called Live at the Fillmore.

The New Fillmore concert poster series was initiated in 1988 when legendary promoter Bill Graham started producing events again at the historic original Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco. Though there was a hiatus between 1989 and 1994 due to the building being damaged in an earthquake, the poster series has continued since the Fillmore’s reopening. There are now well over 1000 issues in the series, representing hundreds of artists and musicians while showcasing world-class artwork.
