Peter Keil is a German artist who focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats, including Joan Miro, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol, to name a few.

This piece was purchased directly from the Keil family acting on behalf of Peter and is guaranteed authentic. We were told at the time of purchase that this piece was painted in Picasso's studio the year before he died and serves as a sign of respect for his mentor and friend, Pablo Picasso, and pays homage to the iconic painting "Seated Woman" painted by Picasso in 1937.

A Certificate of Authenticity from the artist is adhered to the verso.

This is an incredibly rare piece that should only continue to grow in value.
