This Italian military WWII-era dynamite transport box is heavy for its size (8-1/2" square x 4" thick), and extremely sturdy. The outside is olive drab canvas-covered steel with (2) adjustable canvas straps, hooked buckles and leather straps to keep it closed, while the interior is lined in some semblance of fraying linen and off-white flannel. Dividers create (5) compartments of various sizes plus a large flat section inside the lid. It's seen some use and has acquired a bit of rust on the metalwork (the sample had even lost a bit of the metalwork), but the design still holds up. Overall, this lot is in good condition.
