This 1868 French infantry officer sabre model 1855 is suspected to be original and made by a rare manufacturer, the Manufacture du Zhornof in the Bas-Rhin region. This sabre does not have the scabbard. Overall this sabre is in good condition as the blade is fairly clean showing minimum signs of pitting or surface rust/corrosion.
