This is a civil war era J. Russell & co. Green River works knife & fork. The knife is marked but the fork is not, there is minor surface rust and surface pitting on the knife blade. There is an ornate design on each piece. The handles are tight to each utensil with no major damage or repair. They both exhibit sturdy wooden handles. Good to very good condition overall.
