Description
A U.S. Army Type 1 Class III Uniform in excellent overall condition. This is a type I class III uniform introduced in 1966 as an update to the older WWII era uniforms and lightened the materials. The patches on the arms indicate that this soldier was a private first class in the 8th Military Police Brigade. The Brigade was initially activated in 1967 to provide planning and supervision for criminal investigations during the Vietnam War. Later on in the 1980's they were sent to manage all U.S. Pacific military forces. The pin over the right breast pocket represents the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps.
