The pale yellowish-green, semi-translucent jade bowl is of compressed circular form, supported on a short, slightly flared foot. It is carved around the exterior with concentric rows of raised bosses and flanked by a pair of openwork dragon-form handles; the stone displays russet inclusions and natural veining.
