Signed, titled, and dated to verso of each: [34 1968 VA #1 A Performance Situation Using Alphabets], [35 1968 VA #2 A Performance Situation Using Alphabets], and [36 1968 VA #3 A Performance Situation Using Alphabets]. In 1968–69 Acconci moved from poetry into photographic works that recorded predetermined “performance situations,” task-like actions executed for the camera.
