Turn of the century mail trunk or steamer trunk with flat top for travel. Monogrammed with W.M.C. / L.A. on both ends.

There are two trays and several compartments for storage. Covered with water resistant LV canvas, with leather trim.

The Louis Vuitton name is on virtually every detail including clasps and fasteners and buttons and straps.

The consignor bought this piece in Paris, France, in the 70's in one of their open air markets and had it shipped from Paris to the U.S. and has owned it since.
