Balmain two-piece ensemble featuring a top and skirt designed by Olivier Rousteing for the spring/summer 2015 runway collection.
The ensemble is composed of 100% viscose and features bold vertical stripes in black, white, red, royal blue, and yellow. The long-sleeve top has a crew neckline with a ribbed collar, cuffs, and hem. The matching pencil skirt features a black ribbed waistband, an exposed gold-tone center back zipper closure, and a straight hem. The interior of both pieces features a Balmain Paris label, each marked size 38 and made in France.
Nicole Phelps for Vogue runways noted the collections strength came through the simplicity of the designs, writing, "he balanced his instinct for embellishment with simplicity, things started to click [?] this collection was at its best when Rousteing was thinking streamlined (a black bandage dress with cutouts that bisected the midriff) or sensual (Joan Smalls' strappy, plunge-front dress and sheer pants in fiery red)."
Measurements: Top, Chest 34 inches, Waist 20 inches, Skirt, Waist 27 inches, Hips 34 inches (with stretch).
