Description
C. 1920's Columbia Pneuatic Safety bicycle. Made by the American Bicycle Company in Hartford Ct. that aquired the Pope Mfg. Co. when the american Bicycle monopoly was formed. Shaft driven bicycle with 24" frame. Complete and original. Has toe clips on the pedals and flap brake on the rear wheel actuated by a lever on the handlebar linked via a cable in a casing that runs along the frame tubing from the brake flap on the rear wheel to a lever on the handlebar.
