Description
C. 1890 Eagle Roadster 52" high wheel safety bicycle patented by the L.B. Gaylor of Stamford CT in 1886. Very good condition, nickel spokes, other nickel surfaces including saddle spring, brakes, handlebars need replating. Appears to be a fine example of an important American high wheel safety. Includes stand. Previously sold at Copake Auction April 16, 2016 lot 43a.
