Description
A convertible sofa bed in the manner of the Anfibio, designed by Alessandro Becchi (Italian, b. 1946) for Giovannetti Collezioni beginning in 1970. Orange leather upholstery with polyurethane padding. Folds out to a full mattress without a rigid metal sleeper mechanism, in the manner characteristic of the model. Italy, circa 1970.
In Couch/Folded orientation: H 25 in. W 94 in. D 35 in. SH 14 in.
Condition
Rough condition with wear and tear. Will need professional restoration. One strap broken, and hole in far right seat, see images for reference.
