This Lot is a black powder, breechloading, single barrel, rifled, signal cannon. This cannon is loaded from the rear using the breach and then lit off by the flash hole. The cannon has been modified by having a krag rear sight installed along with a fiber optic front sight installed. The cannon barrel itself has been cut down but the bore and rifling are in good shape. The carriage of this cannon is also borrowed from the Lyle life saving gun which was created between 1877 and 1878. Overall this cannon is in good condition showing small signs of use, no damage and a carriage that is in good condition.
