Description
This Colt M35 Tripod for the 1917 Browning machinegun was built after WWI, this field tripod was designed for use with commercial/foreign contract variants of the Browning Model 1917 machine gun, and is most commonly associated with an order placed by the government of Argentina. This field mount is constructed with a brass main body and steel framework, legs and elevation gear, which is all finished in faded green paint. A brass plaque on the rear leg identifies it as a Colt product, numbered "461". Overall this tripod is in good to very good condition with, showing only signs of age and normal wear.
