This late 19th-century American ironstone pitcher was produced by the Wheeling Pottery Company of West Virginia. The robust, curving form is adorned with deep blue transferware patterning, complemented by an embossed scrollwork handle and textured surface details. The pitcher measures approximately 10 7/8 in. H x 10 1/4 in. in diameter including the handle, displaying authentic period character with overall crazing, age-appropriate discoloration, and hairline cracking at the base consistent with its long history.
