This mid-century German white porcelain pitcher features a removable lid with a ball finial and a prominent molded gilt lion perched at the top of the handle. Enhanced by a delicate gold wheat design on the sides and gold trim along the base, neck, and rim, the base is stamped with the maker's mark "MB." Measuring approximately 10 in. H x 5 3/4 in. W x 6 1/4 in. D, the piece displays crazing and some wear to the gold trim consistent with its age and use.
