Charming collection of three late-19th-century English transferware childrens plates was produced by Ridgeways. The miniature plates feature scenes from Charles Dickens's The Old Curiosity Shop in the coveted Humphreys Clock pattern. One plate measures approximately 1/4 in. H x 4 3/8 in. in diameter (with the others scaling accordingly). They are in good antique condition, displaying wonderful historical character with crisp transfer details and only minimal age-appropriate discoloration to one piece.
