This mid-19th-century ironstone plate was produced by the renowned maker T. & R. Boote in their desirable Sydenham Tulip pattern, introduced circa 1853. The octagonal piece features elegant paneled fluting along the rim set over a clean white ground. The plate measures approximately 1 1/8 in. H x 9 7/8 in. in diameter, displaying authentic character with gentle age-appropriate discoloration and minimal wear consistent with its long history of use.
