It has a shallow cavity and flat base marked with multiple circular black spur marks left from spur?support firing technique.The vessel is fully covered in creamy?yellow Ge?yao glaze with soft, lustrous texture. The glaze surface is covered with interwoven crackles of varying sizes. Dark black iron?wire fissures interlace with light golden?yellow gold?thread cracks, forming the signature “gold?thread and iron?wire” pattern of Ge ware. Crackles vary in density with natural flowing lines. The glaze bears inherited patina accumulated through long?term historical use.
