Description
This lot features two painted wooden foundry patterns, traditionally used as forms for sand casting metal industrial components. The first pattern consists of an open-frame cylindrical housing with two circular end flanges finished in black paint, joined by four longitudinal ribs. The central shaft is finished in yellow, representing a core print for sand placement. A metal identification tag pinned to one rib is impressed with the numbers 41258. The second item is a globe valve body pattern constructed from wood with visible grain on the end flanges. The entire piece is finished in yellow paint. The central body features embossed lettering reading POWELL and 150 WP below it, indicating a 150 PSI working pressure rating. A raised rectangular section above the center is impressed with the numbers 48846.
