This vintage commercial Cleartype County-Town map of the United States was published by the American Map Company, Inc. of New York. Printed on heavy paper stock with hand-colored regional highlights in shades of blue, green, orange, and purple, it displays state lines, county names, and major municipal boundaries across the country. The map comes custom-mounted inside a simple, handmade rustic plywood frame. Visual assessment shows visible fold creases throughout the map, perimeter tape along the edges securing it to the backing, light paper discoloration, and minor spot staining; the handmade wood frame shows raw grain texture, minor edge roughing, and scuffs consistent with age, while the protective glass remains free of cracks or blemishes.
