Description
An early 20th-century Western Electric 35-C Test Set housed in a classic wooden transport case with brass corner braces, metal latches, rubber feet, and a leather carrying handle, featuring an integrated paper wiring schematic inside the lid. Manufactured in the United States for Bell System telephone exchange line testing, the interior faceplate contains electrical components, switches, terminal jacks, wire-wound rheostats, and a Weston Electrical Instrument Corp. Model 267 Milliammeter. The item shows age-appropriate wear, including heavy surface scratching, finish wear, chips, and scuffs to the wooden case. The exterior leather strap is broken on one side, the central interior panel is detached due to missing mounting screws, and the glass face on the Weston gauge dial is broken. Measures H 6.5", W 11.25", D 8.75". Please see photos for condition.
