Southern folk art Devil face jug by South Carolina potter Marvin Bailey. The jug features a maroon glossy glaze with dramatic cream and honey-gold drip glaze running down one side of the face. The asymmetrical eyes, flared ears, pinched triangular nose, and two pointed devil horns give the piece a distinctive expression. Four unglazed white ceramic teeth form a crooked grin.
