French Provincial Bench, c.1900

Description

A charming antique French provincial settee, crafted in warm-toned fruitwood with a three-panel ladder back and woven rush seat. The tall, gently scalloped crest rail and matching shaped back slats give it a graceful, informal silhouhette.

Condition

Retains it's original woven rush foundation which has become frayed and loose in some areas over time. Frame is in good condition with a warm, aged patina.
