Description

This carver armchair has a strong country presence, with boldly turned stiles topped by finials, a ladder of three baluster spindles in the back, and straight arms supported by simple posts. The squared legs are joined by multiple stretchers.

Condition

Condition is good and honest: the wood surface shows scattered small dings, rubs, and color variation from age and use, and the rush seat is worn with a few broken strands but remains largely intact and serviceable.
