Alexandra Eldridge is an American mixed-media artist based in Santa Fe whose work combines painting, collage, drawing, and photographic imagery in richly layered, dreamlike compositions. Born to artist parents, she earned a B.A. in art and literature from Ohio University and continued her studies at Cambridge University, the Santa Reparata Graphic Workshop in Florence, Penland School of Craft, and other programs. Deeply influenced by William Blake, Carl Jung, poetry, mysticism, and travel, Eldridge creates symbolic, often mythic images concerned with memory, transformation, and the imaginative life. She has exhibited extensively in the United States and internationally and has completed commissions including murals in Paris’s Place des Vosges.
