Collection of four hand carved wooden captive ball carvings executed from single blocks of wood. The group includes sculptural tower and architectural forms with one to four permanently enclosed movable balls. Several examples feature painted or stained finishes and decorative carved bases, highlighting the maker's creativity and technical skill. One is dated 1919 and says Snow Day on the bottom.
Good condition.
Size: Largest is 10.25" tall.
Provenance: Private Florida Collection. Consignor is 90 years old and has been collecting his entire life.
