Description: An oil on panel genre scene attributed to Francisco Pradilla y Ortiz, depicting two laborers with a loaded handcart and dog in a narrow European street. Timbered facades and an overhead passage frame the figures, while a blue-green sky and sunlit plaster enliven the compact composition. The work is signed in red lower right "F. Pradilla" and dated "74," with a related signature on the reverse. Presented in a pierced carved-wood frame with masks, flowers, and scrolling foliage, its lower plaque inscribed "LABOR."

The painted surface has extensive craquelure, surface grime, scattered abrasions, and small paint losses, with darkened and uneven varnish. Areas of old retouching may be present. The panel has minor edge wear and has not been removed from the frame. The carved frame has chips, cracks, repaired or missing openwork elements, finish loss, and accumulated grime. The painting has not been examined under ultraviolet light.
