Doll 1) 21" SH 1079-8 1/2 DEP GERMANY (Simon & Halbig). Brown braided wig, blue eyes. Dressed in cotton tiered dress with velvet trim. Petticoat, pantaloons, chemise. Black oilcloth shoes. Condition: nothing observed on bisque. Neck socket of torso has been replaced. Age loss on dress, shoes. Doll 2) 16" S & C (Franz Schmidt) GERMANY 6 1/2, golden blonde wig. Body is stamped on back G?SETZL (illegible) D.R.G.M. (This doll looks very similar to a Simon & Halbig) Dressed in pale peach cotton organdy dress with underliner. No underwear. Ivory oilcloth shoes.
