Pre-Ming Dynasty Blue and White Large Jar with Red-Green Colored Dragon Motif, of thick porcelain body and full form, in classic general jar wide-belly form, fully painted with underglaze blue sea wave ground, the reserved panels painted in red and green with auspicious beast patterns including red dragon, phoenix and kylin, complemented by floral borders, with strong color contrast and bold vigorous painting, height 30cm, belly diameter 35cm. The multi-color technique requires extremely high difficulty, rare in surviving quantity, it is a representative heavy vessel of early colored porcelain.
