Civil War era trunk with its full pine body refinished, all original steel binding and twin front locks. Brass plated "Jenny Lind" style large tack heads on binding, original grooved exterior wooden slats and a new pair of hand-stitched leather side handles with original tin loops. Complete with original paper lining in good condition. A great collectors item for lovers of antique trunks, and also useful as a coffee table, or at the end of the bed for extra storage of blankets and pillows.
