An American earthenware cookie jar produced in 1960, modeled as a seated bear wearing a forest ranger uniform. The interior is finished with a smooth, off-white glaze. The underside of the base is incised with the characters J WINTON,© 60, and MADE IN USA.

The cookie jar is in good overall vintage condition with the original lid. A notable chip is located on the lower rear rim of the base. The peak of the hat shows minor paint loss and surface scuffs. General surface wear, light abrasions, and shelf rubbing to the base are present, consistent with age and domestic use. No cracks or repairs are observed.
