A mid-century two-piece glazed ceramic cookie jar designed in the form of a whimsical pixie or elf head. The vessel features a removable lid shaped as a pointed green cap with textured leaf-like relief and a curled tip. The base of the head forms a green collar accented with a single gold luster button. The underside of the base is incised with the hand-written signature GERRY 67.

The jar is in fair vintage condition. There is a prominent chip with ceramic loss on the lower edge of the green-glazed base and a flea bite is located on the top inner rim of the jar body where the lid rests. The interior glaze exhibits all-over crazing. Minor surface scuffs and shelf wear are present consistent with age and use.
