Letter of Introduction written on September 5, 1825, from Daniel Webster (1782-1852), American lawyer, statesman, and diplomat who represented New Hampshire and Massachusetts in the U.S. Congress and served as the 14th and 19th U.S. Secretary of State to Charles Steward Davies, Esq., Counsellor-at-law, Portland, Maine, pertaining introducing Count Vidua (Count Carlo Vidua of Conzano) and his companion (Ludwig Niederstetter of Prussia) to C.S. Davies Esq. during his 1825 travels through the United States.
