This piece was made in Massachusetts, before Porter Blanchard moved to Southern California in 1923. The small vase is simple is design and has never been engraved or monogrammed. The vase is hand hammered, this hammering especially prominent on the base. The cone style bud vase has a slightly domed base. The underside is marked sterling and Porter Blanchard. This piece is in good condition for its age. There is very minor surface wear commensurate with age and little use. There are no major damages and no repairs. Diameter of base: 2 5/8 inches. Height: 8 inches. Weight: 120 grams or 4.2 ounces.
