Fabulous vintage set of four lacquered oval nesting boxes.

Exteriors of the boxes are wrapped in a warm, dark camel shade of lacquered material which presents as leather.

Fine stitching encircles both the tops and bottoms of each box. A decorative design overlay of deep green stylized foliage has been handpainted onto each piece.

The interiors of the boxes are completely lacquered in a glossy black. Very sturdy, yet lightweight.

These lovely pieces are both functional and highly decorative.

Medium: 4" x 2.5" x 1.5"
