The group includes a Martindale Latin-style machete, an ornate Promedoca machete with a carved handle, and a long-bladed primitive tool. The Martindale machete features a light-colored wooden handle secured with three pins and a steel blade characterized by three longitudinal fullers. Stamped into the blade is a crocodile device above the text MARTINDALE, BIRMINGHAM, MADE IN ENGLAND, and REGISTERED NO 350L. The second machete, manufactured in the Dominican Republic, features a dark wood handle carved in the form of a horse's head with notched decorative accents. The blade is etched with a bull logo next to the text PROMI DOCA, DOMINICAN REP.Measurements/notes: Longest 29.5 in.
