Here we have an original poster for renowned jazz guitarist John Fahey! This piece was designed by poster artist Tom Weller. Legendary musician John Fahey borrowed from the folk and blues traditions in American roots music as well as jazz. He would later incorporate classical Portuguese, Brazilian, and Indian music into his ever-expanding body of work. He came in 35th on Rolling Stone Magazine’s The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time list. This poster from Washington School Auditorium in 1967 is 100% original with no restoration.
