Majolica syrup pitcher was produced by Griffen, Smith & Hill of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, featuring their iconic Etruscan pattern. The ceramic body is styled with paneled botanical motifs set against an embossed basket weave texture, complemented by a naturalistic bamboo-form handle. It features its original hinged pewter lid and thumbpiece, with the stamped Etruscan Majolica mark on the recessed base. It measures approximately 7 3/4 in. H x 4 3/4 in. in diameter overall, displaying characteristic all-over age crazing to the ceramic glaze, bends to the pewter lid, and rich historic metal patination.
