Pair of Art Kilman Pintail Decoys

Description

Exceptional pair of pintail decoys by Art Kilman of Pocomoke, Maryland, comprising a drake and hen. Representing significant examples of the carver’s work, the pair displays finely modeled forms and distinctive painted surfaces. Kilman carved decoys during a relatively brief period, and examples of his work are infrequently encountered on the market. Both are signed and dated. Drake measures approximately 18 in. L; hen measures approximately 14 in. L. Good overall condition with slight separation to the painted surfaces consistent with age.
