Two early country ladderback chairs, each featuring an old green painted surface, turned posts with finely turned finials, shaped back splats, and woven seats. The chairs retain a wonderfully aged appearance with strong primitive country character and an appealing worn patina. One chair measures approximately 37 in. H x 17 in. W x 14 in. D, with a seat height of approximately 15 in. Some loss and wear to the painted finish and woven seating consistent with age and use.
