Charming mid-20th-century American folk art landscape painting was executed and signed by artist S. Wagner. The nocturnal winter scene is painted on panel with a delightful naive aesthetic, depicting a cozy snow-covered country home nestled in a quiet rural landscape beneath a luminous full moon overhead. It is housed in a handsome gilt wooden frame. The framed work measures approximately 10 1/2 in. H x 7 5/8 in. W x 1/2 in. D overall. It is in good condition.
