Classic Mid-Century Modern decanter was produced by the renowned Danish glassworks Holmegaard for Peter F. Heering's traditional cherry liqueur (often referred to as the Elsinore or Klokke bottle design). The vessel features a striking, bulbous organic form with a long, tapering neck, executed in a rich dark olive green glass characteristic of mid-century Scandinavian design. It measures approximately 8 7/8 in. H x 4 1/4 in. in diameter overall. It is offered in fair condition, with an apparent crack or inclusion to bottom.
